The event was held at the Clubhouse in Liverpool One, just one of the NWTC restaurants, and carers were invited to experience and enjoy a “Gin Masterclass”, where they learnt about all things gin, including the history, the connections with Liverpool and all of the botanicals used to make gin.

The Clubhouse laid on a fabulous spread which was enjoyed by all and was a massive hit! For many of the carers it was the first ‘mytime’ event they had attended. The afternoon was a great opportunity for carers to come together and meet other carers who they didn’t know until the event. It was perfect for carers who are unable to take advantage of the overnight breaks available via ‘mytime’, due to their caring responsibilities. The staff at the Clubhouse were amazing, they could not have been more helpful and definitely added to the success of the afternoon.
