Carers were the guests of the Vice Chancellor and his wife at the performance of Handel’s Messiah at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall. They were treated to a welcoming reception and an evening listening to the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir given a truly outstanding performance.
For some of the carers it was the first time they have seen The Messiah performed. One carer said of the evening ” I find it very difficult to sleep and most nights I listen to classical music, to be able to see this performance has been brilliant”.
As well as the staff from Liverpool John Moores, Zoe and her team from the Philharmonic Hall were very attentive to the carers and went out their way to make sure everyone had a memorable evening.
Thanks to everyone involved.
