2 x Tickets to the opening night of Bleak Expectations at the Talisman Theatre in Kenilworth

Mischief, mayhem and darkly comic chaos.

Prepare for a hilarious evening of joy and laughter as Dickens meets Monty Python in this chaotic comic caper.

Follow the story of Pip Bin and his family and friends as they scramble to escape the clutches of dastardly villains and find true love. Spot the Dickensian characters as they uphold their Victorian values in this non-stop comic farce that sees them send up Britishness with oodles of silliness as they race towards their (hopefully) happy ending.

Based on the award-winning BBC Radio 4 series, this Mark Evans play enjoyed a highly successful run in the West End. So take a trip back to Victorian England in this fast-paced and inventive production, featuring a host of instantly-familiar characters that will have you rolling in the aisles.

Please email mytime@localsolutions.org.uk to register

Free on site car parking available and the theatre is fully accessible. Please advise at the time of registration if wheelchair access is required.

The MAD Museum does what it says on the tin! Based in the center of Stratford upon Avon, this quirky attraction displays interactive pieces of mechanical art, in particular; kinetic art and automata.

“MAD” stands for Mechanical Art and Design.
If you’re not quite sure what mechanical art is all about, think of the machines and gizmos used in Wallace and Gromit, Scrapheap Challenge and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
In a nutshell, mechanical art is usually beautifully crafted, moving sculptures either made to have an exaggerated purpose or made simply for the fun of it.

The pieces on display have been sourced from artists all around the world and the fact that nearly everything is interactive means kids and big kids(!) can really get stuck in. We encourage you to press buttons and to “release your inner inventor”. In a world full of computer screens and ‘do not touch’ signs, we’ve been told MAD is refreshingly satisfying.

*This offer is available to a carer visiting alone and not accompanying a cared for person or as part of a group visit.
